Fan-made SPRUNKI videos are welcome. You do not need our permission to make them, and you keep what the platforms pay you.
Permission
Not required. There is no application form and no agreement to sign.
Revenue
Yours. ShinStar takes no share of what a platform pays you.
01 — What you may do
Make the video you want to make.
You may create and publish fan-made video content featuring SPRUNKI characters — animation, music mixes, mod showcases, reactions, lore videos, shorts and long-form alike — on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Discord or anywhere else.
You may use the character names and the word SPRUNKI in your titles, descriptions and tags to describe what your video is about.
You do not need to ask us first, and you do not need anything in writing from us afterwards. The one thing we ask in return is set out in condition five below: point your viewers to the official game at sprunki.com.
02 — Money
What a platform pays you is yours.
You may monetise fan videos through platform programmes — the YouTube Partner Program, TikTok Creator Rewards, and equivalents elsewhere — without asking us and without paying us anything.
ShinStar does not take a share of your ad revenue, now or later. If anyone contacts you claiming to collect SPRUNKI fan-content royalties on our behalf, they are not authorised by us. Write to legal@shinstarllc.com.
03 — Conditions
Five things we ask of every creator.

Keep it family-friendly.
SPRUNKI's audience includes children. Sexualised, suggestive or otherwise age-inappropriate depiction of the characters is not permitted under any circumstances. Content that crosses this line will be reported and removed, in every territory where we can act.

Say that it is unofficial.
State clearly in the video or its description that the content is unofficial fan work, and that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by ShinStar LLC. Do not use words like “official”, “licensed” or “partnership” to describe it.

Make it; do not redistribute it.
This policy covers animation you create. Re-uploading the game itself, posting its game files, or republishing our official artwork as your own asset does not fall under it.

Do not take the brand.
Do not use the SPRUNKI logo or wordmark as your channel name, handle or channel art, and do not register domains, apps, store listings or trademarks that incorporate it.

Link back to the official game.
Every fan video must carry a link to https://www.sprunki.com — in the description, a pinned comment, or an end card. This is a condition of the permission above, not a suggestion: it is what keeps the characters alive, and content published without it falls outside this policy.
04 — Not covered
What still needs a written licence.
This page is about fan video content. The following remain outside it and still require a licence signed by ShinStar LLC:
- Games, mods, apps and websites that use the SPRUNKI name, logo or character artwork
- Merchandise, print-on-demand products and physical goods
- Commercial publishing, broadcasting or advertising use of the characters by a business
- Anything presented as an official product, partner release or endorsed collaboration

This page states how we currently treat fan video content. It is not a licence, and it is not a waiver of any right — the SPRUNKI trademark and the copyright in the character artwork remain with ShinStar LLC.
We may update this policy; the version published here governs. We may withdraw this permission from an individual channel that breaches the conditions above. Nothing here limits our right to act against content that infringes our rights.

To report infringing apps, websites or listings — or fan content that breaches the conditions above — write to us with the URL, screenshots and the date you observed the content.
If you are unsure about a specific video or format before publishing, send a link or a short description and we will tell you whether it falls inside this policy.
